Positiveness

What is being positive?

Positive thinking means different things to different people. However, generally it is about facing up to the situation, and finding ways of coping with it. People do this in many ways. What works for one person may not work for another.

When you talk to people with cancer, even the most positive of them will admit to low times when they felt depressed and anxious. No one can be positive 100% of the time. It’s important that you don’t feel that you must always stay on top of things. Being positive doesn’t mean having to feel happy and cheerful all the time. It’s a positive thing to acknowledge and talk about your feelings – even when you’re feeling tired, worried, depressed or angry.

Why Think Positively?

All of our feelings, beliefs and knowledge are based on our internal thoughts, both conscious and subconscious. We are in control, whether we know it or not.We can be positive or negative, enthusiastic or dull, active or passive.

The biggest difference between people is their attitudes. For some, learning is enjoyable and
exciting. For others, learning is a drudgery. For many, learning is just okay, something required on the road to a job.

"Most folks are about as happy as they
make up their minds to be."

I choose to be positive :)))

Are you doing at least 25 % of those things?

1. Take a 10-30 minutes walk every day. And while you walk, smile.
2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.
3. Sleep for 7 hours.
4. Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.
5. Play more games.
6. Read more books than you did in 2007.
7. Make time to practice meditation, yoga, and prayer. They provide us with daily fuel for our busy lives.
8. Spend time with people over the age of 70 & under the age of 6.
9. Dream more while you are awake.
10. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.
11. Drink plenty of water.
12. Try to make at least three people smile each day.
13. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip.
14. Forget issues of the past. Don't remind your partner with his/her mistakes of the past. That will ruin your present happiness.
15. Don't have negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.
16. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.
17. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar.
18. Smile and laugh more.
19. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don't hate others.
20. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
21. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
22. Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present.
23. Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about. Don't compare your partner with others.
24. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
25. Forgive everyone for everything.
26. What other people think of you is none of your business.
27. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
28. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.
29. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
30. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
31. The best is yet to come.
32. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
33. Do the right thing!
34. Call your family often.
35. Your inner most is always happy. So be happy.
36. Each day give something good to others.
37. Don't over do. Keep your limits.

What to go home!!!

Tomorrow I’ll be at home… after 2 month, I miss, I cannot wait to meet my sister (I have never thought I’ll want to see her so much after such short period of time), my parents, my lovely cat, my friends… aaaaa

Yesterday started to schedule my meetings in order to meet everyone I want… Being away, makes you so efficient in managing own time, you exactly know what you need and where you can get it.

I want to walk in my favorite places, go to my favorite café.

Actually, till moving to Kyiv, I thought that is nothing special to live 400 km from home, and it’s still the same country, but now I realize how much I was mistaken. Living Even 400 km, makes you miss so much people u love, even worth being only 400 km and don’t have possibility to go, makes u angry, what a fuck!!!

Happy, in love, me

Brazil, part 1

I’ve backed from Brazil, Country I was dreaming about for 2 years, - from the time Yulia had backed from IC in Poland and said that IC 08 will be in Brazil, I thought it would be amazing to go there, and I did.

It supposes to be long post about everything what I experienced during those 15 days, so let’s get it started.

I think country can be described with things I love and I’m surprised with, still I cannot tell that I know much it just my point of view on things, places I saw.

I like….

Food, - it has so much similar things with Ukrainian, or better say with that we used to, but with some special vegetables and fruits we don’t have. The portions in restrains are really huge;
you can always drink fresh juice made from fruits you even don’t know. You know what? … on my first day I twice found salad pretty much like our Oliv’e
J)

People, - almost nobody speaks English on the streets or in any public places accept hostels and hotels. At the same time when you ask about help they try to find a way how to explain you something, whether it will be drawing, gestures or even friend call.

Walking on our last free day in Sao Paulo, we tried to find shop with coffee, one guys sitting in some pub, called to his friend who spoke English just to help us J

Metro, - strange, but it Seams the best metro from those I’ve been using so far, clean, big with quite clear signs (unfortunately only in Portuguese ) and much more fester than in Ukraine. The price is also big, 2,40 R that is around 6,5 grn when in Ukraine metro costs only 50 kop.

to be.......
